2010 Trip Schedule
Puicin an Cairn, an Iron Age tomb overlooking Dingle Bay. Iveragh Peninsula in background.
The Celtic Traveler will run a single trip in 2010. The dates for the trip are 10-20 September 2010.
The fee for the trip is $1985 per person sharing accommodations. Each traveler arranges for his or her own airfare, which is not included in the cost of the trip.
The trip will center on the Dingle Peninsula, and will concentrate on the culture and history of the area, especially as it relates to Ireland as a whole. We will explore the music, literature, history, and archeology of this culturally rich area of Ireland. We will stay out at the western tip of the peninsula, in the Kerry Gaeltacht in a charming, full-service country hotel.
The trip fee will cover all Irish ground transportation, accommodations, full Irish breakfast each morning, some evening meals, and my services as your guide for the duration of the trip. You will be met at Shannon airport on the morning of 10 September, and delivered back there on the 20th.
